Teaching with First Leap
We are looking for International instructors to join our First Leap team in China. International instructors are required to prepare and deliver high quality English classes to
students. It will be important to collaborate with local teachers to provide necessary academic
services to the students or parents to ensure students gain significant improvements in their
English abilities.
You should be energetic, enthusiastic, love children and have the willingness and passion to be an English teacher.
Ideal candidates also have a flexible mindset, willing to learn, adopt and adapt to the Chinese culture.
We are located throughout China, being in over 80 cities and having over 200 centers.
Teacher responsibilities are:

Attend classes, trainings and meetings on time as required.
Improve your academic and teaching skills consistently through training, group class practice and individual practice.

Use First Leap’s teaching approach to deliver the courses.

Provide academic coaching or guidance to students before, during and after class in order to ensure successful learning outcomes, as well as student engagement and motivation.

Ongoing communication with parents and students.
Teacher requirements are:
- Native English speakers at an Idiomatic level. UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa.
- Degree: BA or above (Education, linguistics, or English degree preferred).
- No Teaching, ESL, or Chinese language experience required!
- TEFL, TESOL, or DELTA/CELTA certificate is strictly required.
- A teaching license issued by your home country is a bonus.
- Relocate: Must be willing to relocate to China.
